Crossing Over
I lie there,
trembling,
In fear.
Scared.
Shocked.
Lost..
And all I can do is think of you.
I never meant for this to happen.
The only thing I wanted to do was to
Save you.
I wanted to do this.
You deserve more than me.
You have a whole life ahead of you
And no need to worry about me,
I already through mine away..
There is nothing for me to live for,
Except you.
And given the chance to save
Your life insted of mine,
It really is
The least I could do.
Don't be sad though.
I only did this for you.
I took my life,
Just to save yours.
And now,
As I walk across this bridge,
The memories of you are still clear.
They never will leave me,
no matter where I am.
I'm floating into a new world.
A world where everything is good.
I will never feel hurt,
Never feel the pain,
The pain that I'm feeling now
As I lie here watching you sob,
while you're hugging me close.
And I know that I'm gone for good,
I know it's hard, but
Just remember
I'm always looking after you.
I'm finally going to the new world.
The place of all afterlife,
The place I can finally call home.
And even if I'm here,
You're still the only thing on my mind.
Just always know one thing,
I did this for you.
Never forget,
I love you.
What did I do well in this poem?
What should I work on?
Does it all make sense?

I think it all made sense. I thought you did well by using descriptive words and making the piece come together. I don't think there is a lot you could fix with this poem.
ReplyDeleteYour are amazing at writing poems! You had a very descriptive and well flowing poem. :) I really don't know anything you could work on. It also makes perfect sense! Nice job! :)
